Sterling Shimoji

Mr. Shimoji is a Managing Director, Capital Markets, for Magellan Value Partners, LLC (“MVP”). He is responsible for all capital activities related to acquisitions for MVP.  He has 30 years of real estate experience and has closed over $1 billion in permanent, construction, mezzanine debt, and equity.  Before joining MVP, Mr. Shimoji worked for Gulfstream Land & Development Corp., Trammell Crow Company, Highridge Partners, Five S Capital and EJM Development Co. in analytical, management and executive capacities with responsibilities covering capital markets, finance, asset management, accounting, financial planning, and budgeting.

 

He holds an MBA from the W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University and a Master of Global Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.  While attending Thunderbird, Mr. Shimoji completed an internship with the International Trade Administration, U. S. Department of Commerce.  He is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and has a real estate salesperson license from the State of California.
